We have expanded (again!)

UK Customs Solutions have recently completed our third major expansion in less than five years.

Having begun life as four staff in a small corner of one floor in Orwell House Felixstowe, growth has seen us first take over half the floor followed shortly by an entire ground floor unit.  This latest round of expansion has seen us now take over a portion of a newly refurbished upper floor, with staff levels now at approximately 40 employees  – with space to spare for more.

This has been made possible through steady, natural growth in business as we have demonstrated reliability, flexibility and efficiency for our customers.  It also demonstrates our readiness for Brexit, in whichever form it will eventually take.  In doing so we have taken on more than ten new employees in the last six months, including a mix of experienced staff and trainees.

UKCS Managing Director and founder Bryn Ward shared his feelings on the progress of the business:

“Seeing what we’ve become from such small beginnings fills me with pride.  It’s a reflection of the hard work, dedication and considerable expertise of both management and staff, which has made this possible.  We are now in a strong position to cope with the challenges of Brexit, and with room for further growth as required.”

See below for pictures of our shiny new office space, including a wall of inspirational words to remind us of our values:
